Toolboks started inside Lingu AS, a language training company in Stavanger, Norway serving thousands of learners across multiple countries.

We sold subscriptions, managed services, and training contracts to enterprise and public sector clients. Our CRM tracked the deals. Then it stopped. Renewals went into spreadsheets. Billing went into Tripletex manually. ARR lived in someone's head.

We needed a CRM that understood recurring revenue — not just the first sale, but the fifth renewal. One that could draft an invoice, not just log a call. One that knew a framework agreement has call-off contracts underneath it.

We couldn't find one. So we built it.

Toolboks AS was spun out as a standalone product company to bring that tool to every small team managing recurring revenue relationships.
